I called up my girl to talk with her

Her friend answered, I asked, and she said "sure"

And then I heard from the back my girl say

A week passed and she still hadn't called me back

So I phoned up and she said "I hope this isn't Jack"

I said "It is...what's going on?"

And then I heard a click and she was gone

It was as if she said
